Ken Olandt's Biography
Ken 'Star Trek' Oldant, a man of few words indeed. Little is known of this (clearly more than capable and quite frankly stunningly handsome) producer/actor except his relationship with auteur/visionary genius Phillip J. Roth on many of his filmic endeavours. The capable Ken has written and produced alongside Roth for most of their careers, even attending school together, unfortunately the pair were forced together by tragedy. Ken's mother and father were tragically killed in an avalanche whilst bear-hunting on one of their many trips abroad to collect animal trophies which they would return home and stuff. Up to this point Ken had intended taxidermy to be his future, even learning to be most proficient at this profession, but the tragedy was too much for him to handle and from then became a strict vegan and lover of all animals. Rejected by his aunt, he was taken on by Judge Phillip Roth Snr. (father of Phillip J. Roth Jnr. the director of A.P.E.X. (1994) and others). Ken and Phillip Jnr. were already firm friends, but living together made them like brothers, the young Phillip took him on and together they worked their way through high school and college. Young Phillip's love of celluloid and desire to 'tell pictures with light' must have rubbed off on Ken as he too became a film fan and has double teamed his way to Hollywood with Phillip. Despite being more a brother to Ken than a father, Phillip is a tutor figure to him and by that same token, Ken is his brilliant protege.
