Pam Dawber's Biography
She is most known for her role as Mindy McConnell on the television series Mork & Mindy Mork and Mindy was a half-hour sci-fi-based situation comedy broadcast from 1978 until 1982 on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) television network. The series starred Robin Williams as Mork, an alien who had come to Earth from the planet Ork, and Pam Dawber as Mindy, his human comedic foil and eventual love interest for Robin Williams' character, Mork from the planet Ork. She also starred in her own series as Samantha Russell on \"My sister Sam,\" which ran on CBS from 1986 to 1988. She also parodied her role on classic sitcoms with JohnRitter in the 1992 movie \"Stay Tuned.\" She was also featured as Mabel, in a Los Angeles Civic Light Opera production (based on the Joseph Papp/New York Shakespeare Festval Production) of Gilbert and Sullivan's \"The Pirates of Penzance.\" She is married to actor Mark Hamon.
