Paula Trickey's Biography
Born in Amarillo, Texas and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Trickey found alove for acting at the very young age of eight. At a time of grief in her family home, Paula performed and wrote plays to act out in hopes to entertain and cheer up her family. Trickey’s love for acting combined with her strong ambition and drive even at this early age led to many plays and theatrical productions from elementary school and throughout high school. While in high school Paula started doing local commercials and pageants , and in 1985 wascrowned Miss Oklahoma in the All-American Teen Pageant only to lose in the finals to Halle Berry. Following high school Paula moved to Dallas where she
studied acting and enjoyed much success with commercials and local film productions such as “Dallas”. With a strong sense of confidence and an invaluable array of experience Paula moved to Los Angeles in 1986.Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Trickey landed roles on television series such as “Sliders”, “Designing Women”, ”Who’s the Boss”, “Step by Step”, ”Columbo”, “Marker”, “Cobra”, ”Raven”, “Fortune Hunter”, “Civil Wars”, “One West Waikiki” and ”Silk Stalkings”. Paula also had recurring roles on “Beverly Hills 90210”, ”Renegade”, “Santa Barbara”, ”High Tide” as well as being a series regular on NBC’s “Tradewinds”.
